Send in the Clowns: A film about a repressed woman who enters a mysterious house and is faced with her unconscious. Her reality will never be the same after leaving the building.
Synopsis – Digital Press Kit
In a quiet eastern European town a young music teacher is faced with a challenge everyday she’s on her way to work. Everyday she spots a mysterious mansion from her bus window. One day she decides to take her curiosity further and enters its premises. So begins her journey of discovering her life long repressed desires. She starts exploring her unconscious and discovers a new side of her that she has never encountered before. The film takes a surreal turn when the viewer is left to interpret on its own what is real and what is the woman’s imagination after leaving the house.

Marketing and Distribution
Different ways to market and distribute our film have been considered. By entering our film to festivals such as CrineFringe Film Festival (www.crinefringe.com) and Encounters film festival (www.encounters-festival.org.uk) offers an opportunity for our film to be viewed by a larger audience. By looking at websites such as film.britishcouncil.org/festivals-directory, other festivals can be recognised and used to market our film.
We have also created a Facebook page as a form of marketing strategy (https://www.facebook.com/SendInTheClownsFilm). A teaser for our film was also created as a way of marketing our film (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNRHLkO6h5g)
